Gratitudes for 2013 and Manifesting Intentions for 2014

Read to the bottom of this blog post for a list of questions to ask yourself about your accomplishments, successes and gratitudes for 2013 and your manifesting intentions for 2014.

Are you dreaming big enough?

Relationship Healing Mastermind2013 was not a year of huge accomplishments.  In 2012 I had written hundreds of articles, a novel and had received some special accolades for my accomplishments.  But in 2013, my work was more behind the scenes.  I attended Number One Book System and Author 101 University Events and I spoke at You Can Succeed and Superstar Summit on the same stage as Les Brown. At these and many other events I connected with accomplished and aspiring authors, editors, publishers, publicists, speakers, best-selling authors, marketers and celebrities.  It was a year for hunkering down and learning the ropes of the way the world works and the miracle of proper marketing.  And this is the year that I created my new web site, DrEricaGoodstone.com as a central hub to showcase and promote my speaking events, books and seminars.

In the middle of the year, the hallway ceiling collapsed in my building and I moved to a beautiful, spacious town home located on the ocean.  But a few months later, the new hurricane window in my wonderful master bedroom leaked and soon there was mold. The mold remediators stripped away the carpet and discarded the classic dresser with the huge mirror.  This revealed itself as a metaphor for the process I am involved in as 2013 comes to a close – cleaning out the old to make room for the new.

My intention for 2014 is to spread the word about the power of healing all of our relationships through love. I will be expanding my Relationship Healing Masterminds to include local groups and Google+ Hangouts.  2014 is the year to heal all of your relationships and to create a life filled with love and intimacy and joy.

WHAT ARE YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, SUCCESSES AND GRATITUDES FOR 2012?

If you have not already done this simple exercise, please take the time to do so now.  I did this a few days ago.  It took me a few hours and the end result was amazing.  It gave me such clarity about where I have been , what I have done, and what are my next steps.  Give yourself the time that you would give to a prospective lead, client or customer.  Take the time to reflect upon your past year and anticipate with enthusiasm the future you are in the process of creating NOW.

    • Yorinda,

Sometimes we have to go behind the scenes, learn some important lessons, take some trainings, get mentoring, clean out old files and develop new habits. Then we are ready to move forward and take small and even big actions. There really is an ebb and flow of productivity and rest.

    • Monna,

I would love to hear what you have listed in your accomplishments for 2013. There is something so uplifting about seeing in writing exactly how many articles and blog posts and radio interviews and whatever else I have completed in a year’s time. And then I love to prepare for the new year with a mindset about what I plan to accomplish.

      Warmly,

      Dr. Erica

  1. I think 2013 was a powerful year of experiences for so many. It was a year, I know for me, of discovery and implementation, which has made me more confident in creating new things for 2014. You list is great and really tunes in to specific things you want to accomplish … I am right there with you, walking with you as we experience even more successes in 2014

  2. Great list Dr. Erica! I will be the first to admit I tend to be rather anal when it comes to goals and task lists, primarily because if I don’t reign myself in I will inevitably become overwhelmed with all my ideas and things I want to do. That’s not necessarily a good thing because it doesn’t always equate to actual progress, just busyness. I love using questions and your list is very extensive so I’ve added a few of yours to my own collection. Thanks for the inspiration, and wishing you a happy, healthy and empowered 2014!

    • Hi Marty,

I like making lists, filling them out, checking back at the end of each year what I have accomplished and what I intend for the following year. It is truly enlightening. Some years are more productive than others but it is easier to check my progress over a year than in any given week when so many distractions and natural environmental issues can interfere with my schedule.

      Dr. Erica

  3. That’s a pretty comprehensive checklist you have, Dr.Erica. I have added it to my “todo” list. It’s actually really interesting to me to see that when I look at the list I achieved a lot more than I realized.

    Thanks for posting

    Alan

    • Alan,

I liked creating a detailed list to review the year and a more general overview vision for the new year. Glad you found that you have actually achieved a lot more than you realized. It’s good for us to see what we have accomplished instead of always looking at what we have not yet done.

      Warmly,

      Dr. Erica
