Relationships usually do not just magically grow and blossom. Even when they begin on a high note and are filled with passionate romance, over time the road may become rocky and negative feelings may occasionally surface. If you have the INCENTIVE and you recall this incentive for being in this relationship when the going gets tough, you are on your way to doing what needs to be done to continue having a fulfilling, lasting and successful relationship. You now are motivated, you have a good, solid reason, and you are encouraged about your ability and the other person’s receptivity to having a great relationship together.
But as the problems arise, which they inevitably do, your original incentive may not be enough. The struggles may seem too difficult, the hurdles too high, and the problems unsolvable. This is when your true, deep and abiding INTENTION shines through. Today I ask you to contemplate your INTENTION. Ask yourself now: “What Is My True Intention For This Relationship? How will I know if my intention is being fulfilled in this relationship?”
1. Your relationship has special meaning for you. You have been seeking a business partner for years and have finally found someone as eager as you with similar goals. You dated for awhile and found this person who has most of your desired qualities. You’ve known this person for a long time and know each other well. To you, this person is the most beautiful or the most intelligent, the most sensitive or the most kind…. of anyone you have known or loved.
2. Your relationship serves a unique purpose. You are finally ready to have children and this wonderful person wants to have children with you. You have certain business strengths and this person’s skills and personality assets complement yours. Your aging relative is wealthy and plans to leave you a large sum on money – or – this person has been kind and loving toward you and you are happy to show your love and provide caring now.
3. You have a plan, a goal, a dream for your life and this relationship can help you to fulfill that dream. You want to become a celebrity and this person is an agent for some superstars. You want to become a professional musician and this person is the best teacher available today. You want to live a lifestyle of comfort and ease and this person is financially very comfortable and shares generously with you.
