Magic and Healing With Your Subconscious Mind
Healing is sometimes seen as miraculous. People in different cultures throughout the world and throughout the centuries have been “cured” of diseases deemed incurable by the medical authorities of the particular time or location. Healing can sometimes appear to occur by magic.
Dr. Steve Taubman, a world renowned entertainer and hypnotist who helps businesses harness the power of the subconscious mind to achieve their desired results, describes his work as follows:
*”I am, among other things, a magician. In that capactiy it’s my job to catch people off guard; to astonish and amaze them. I use magic to entertain, but I also use it for a higher purpose; to wake people up to their true potential….I view matic as transformative….it represents the impossible….it represents metamorphosis….magic creates a moment of astonishment which is one of the most powerful ways…to quiet the mind…And finally, magic is about perception. Neurobiologists now validate what magicians have known for years…What you think you see is often not what is.”
Healing and transformation of your physical, financial, social, emotional and even spiritual concerns and problems does not happen by continuing to think the same way, do the same things and hold onto the same beliefs. Healing occurs through a broadening of perspective, an expansion of vision and a trust in unseen forces.
If you are willing to explore the underlying processes of your mind, your heart and your perceptions, you will then have the potential to create whatever it is you want to have or be in your life. As you gain that inner clarity and inner connection, you develop an uncanny ability “to influence, inspire, empower, and redirect” yourself and others.
On Tuesday, April 27, 2010, attendees had a rare opportunity to meet this amazing healer and transformer in a special one hour teleconference. Dr. Erica Goodstone hosted the call in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and you can access the replay from any city. Think about any questions you might have about healing your emotioins, your finances, your relationships or some other aspect of your life. The key to healing is your subconsious mind. And Dr. Steve Taubman holds the key to how your subconsious truly works.

April 23rd, 2010 at 3:23 am You are touching on a very interesting topic. The healing power is enormous, yet the thought of giving control of your being to someone else is a scary thought. Why is it that we know this and yet cannot bring it out without hypnosis?
April 23rd, 2010 at 3:39 am The fact is, we can gain access and control over our subconscious mind without hypnosis. Mindfulness, contemplation, visualization, guided imagery, affirmations, body therapy, even focusing on an activity or creating a piece of art or playing a musical instrument – all of these and more can lead to connecting with and gaining some control over our subconscious mind. Hypnosis is a tool, a way of easily accessing our subconscious, but certainly not the only way.

hrmm.. I would tend to agree with Karin… I have always been cautioned in regards to hypnotism. I understand using it as a tool, but I think that it should only be used as a last resort or extreme conditions. (for example… someone who has been made mute through sever trauma.)
But… I can’t judge it too much.. much of my reservation comes from a lack of knowledge.
Thanks for sharing this! I will definitely learn more from future content from you, I can tell!!

Paul,
Interesting reaction. I can see why you might have trepidation about hypnosis if you view it as someone else taking control over your mind. It really isn’t like that. Dr. Steve explained the difference between magic and hypnosis. In magic, you are controlling the audience’s perceptions. You are leading them to expect to see one thing and their mind stops them from really seeing what is happening. But hypnosis is different. It is assisting someone to let go of their judgments, doubts and blocks so that their subconsious mind can view their problem or concern from a different perspective. It is not brainwashing someone. It is assisting someone to add a new and more positive repertoire of thoughts to their regular thought processes.

I’m anxious to listen to what Dr.Taubman has to say! I think it is fabulous to hear the same concepts in different packages! As I always say, eternal truth is eternal truth! Thank you Dr. Erica for providing this for us!

Hi Erica,
Great post, the mind is such a powerful thing. I think the mind is often underestimated when really it can achieve such amazing things.
Cheers,

Erica,
Hypnosis has always remained in the “iffy” category for me. I would love to know more about healing transformation, however. I’ve always believed that about 80% of all illness is psychosomatic, but turning that belief into action is another matter.
I look forward to learning a lot more from you about the healing process.

Darlene, Basically there is no separation between mind and body. Our body does not function without our mind. When the heart stops beating, some people have come back to life. But when the brain stops working, the body stops functioning and begins to deteriorate. So – it is so important to pay attention to the symptoms in the body (what possible meaning) and the thoughts in our mind (what possible effect upon our body).

Linda,
Thanks for your comment from 4/28. Today I found 45 comments in my spam, so my response is a bit late; better late than never. Thanks for your support.

Beth,
Sorry my response is a month late, but your comment was found in my spam today. Anyway, I did watch your video and I followed it but somehow got stuck at some point. I just got so busy and put it aside. Thanks for leaving the link to your video so I can watch it again when I have a moment.

Christian,
Thank you so much for your lovely words. Very much appreciated.
The only reason my response is so delayed is that your comment had been placed in spam. Luckily I had not deleted the spam comments and found yours among 45 others.

Lynn,
You are so right. Our minds are so much more powerful than we realize. Years ago I read about studies of people with multiple personality disorder (now called Dissociative Identiy Disorder). Within the same person, same body, when one personality took over the person had diabetes. When a different personality took over, the blood tests revealed normal sugar levels. And that was all within the same human being. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the source of that study.

Doing meditation is an easy exercise to get a more relaxed life. I know it saved me and kept me balanced no matter what happened.
