Happy New Year to us all.  My wish and prayer is for healing, love-filled days and nights, with enough abundance and prosperity for us all.  Is that too big a dream?  If the law of attraction is true, and I believe it is, visualizing and trusting that abundance, healing and love are within our reach,  will bring it to us.

Are you ready to live your dream?  Has something in your past been holding you back?  Have you repeated habitual thoughts and words of doubt and lack and self-effacement?  Have you forgotten your connection to others and to everything that is?

This New Year, 2010, greeting is my reminder to you.  We are all in this life together.  We are not alone, even though it often feels that way.  Our feelings, emotions and thoughts are fleeting, elusive and not always true.  If we pay attention to the signals and symptoms in our body, we may discover what is stopping and blocking us from moving toward our dream.

I want to begin this present New Year with gratitude.  I am grateful for all the love I feel from friends and family (and I have a very small family now).  I appreciate all the well wishes sent by my newfound online social media friends – from all around the globe.  I acknowledge all those marketers who are teaching us the “tricks” toward attaining abundance.  I absorb the warmth and love being shared by spiritually-minded, loving teachers, authors and others.  I am grateful for my physical health (in spite of a few screaming body parts).  I enjoy my own mental health, mental clarity, vision and increasing wisdom.  I love all my emotions (from joyous ones to downright painful ones) and I appreciate all of my experiences (positive and negative) for the lessons provided.

What would life be like without any struggles, any barriers, or any emotional variances?  It could be like living in sunny, warm Florida and wishing for some cooler weather, even a touch of snow.  If we have only positive emotions, uplifting experiences and everything going according to our own plans, what would be the purpose for our life?  What would we desire or strive for?

This is the time, right now at the start of this New Year – a decade into the 21st century – to choose a vision for your life, to acknowlege and accept your current reality (no matter how much it differs from your dream), and to step out into the world – confident, unafraid and willing to do what it takes.  What does it take to reach your dream?

Susan Boyle had a dream since she was about 13 years old.  She sang and practiced her singing and performed her songs.  To anyone who knew Susan Boyle prior to April 2009, they probably could not have imagined the transformation that would soon happen to her life.  When she performed her amazing rendition of I Had A Dream from Les Miserables as one of many hopeful contestants on Britain’s Got Talent, the audience was blown away and so was the rest of the world.  Part of Susan Boyle’s dream came true on that fateful day.  And then, more recently, she sang a duet with the lady who had been her idol for many years.  http://budurl.com/SusanBoyleEPaige

Are you struggling with some seemingly insurmountable healh problem?  What steps have you taken, you yourself, to study potential treatments that your doctors may not recommend?  Read in this article about how two courageous men (Johnny Delirious and Ron Siemientkowski) healed their own bodies – when everyone else thought it was hopeless.  http://budurl.com/Healthgoals.

This is the year to begin.  Take those small steps now.  Ask yourself at least once every day, every week or every month, “What steps have I taken toward living my dream this day, this week, this month?”  Start taking those tiny steps now and watch those tiny steps lead to greater and more fulfilling success as the days and weeks and months of 2010 unfold.

Are you ready to live your dream?  I know I am.
